Description
El Centro Latino was founded in 1969 by a small group of Puerto Rican migrants seeking to address the immediate needs of members of their community as they adapted to life in a new country, and in most cases, to a new language. In 1990, El Centro Latino moved to its new facility, a three story, 30,000 square foot building at 403 North Van Buren Street, three blocks from its original location. When it was time for a much-needed window replacement, we were elated to partner with such a great organization and get them set up with Pella 250 Series vinyl awnings and double-hung windows.
With Pella 250 series products, you get Pella craftsmanship in a great-looking vinyl window that is stronger and more efficient than ordinary vinyl. Multi-chambered and fully welded sashes and frames improve strength and thermal performance while reducing sound transmission. Plus, low-maintenance Pella 250 Series vinyl double-hung windows will never need repainting. And, with frames 52% stronger than ordinary vinyl and a unique tamper prevention system that exceeds the most stringent requirements for forced entry, they bring added security and peace of mind.*
